Healthfirst Sr Cyber Security Engineer in Lake Mary, Florida

Healthfirst is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer with experience leading complex projects, programs, demonstrated leadership experience, and people development experience. This Analyst will also be an experienced information technology professional that can partner with our business aligned IT domain teams to align the Healthfirst Office of Information Security (OIS) Projects, Programs, and Initiatives with the overall organization. This will include working with technical teams, business owners, directors and VPs to ensure OIS objectives are coordinated and achieved. This individual will also provide technical security support across the OIS to include support to the risk management and Cyber operations activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the “Data Loss Prevention” (DLP) program.

  • Participate in the “Privileged Access Management” program.

  • Assist with the “Identity Access Management” initiative

  • Participate in the “Monthly Audit Review” (MAR) process.

  • Lead the coordination of OIS projects, programs, and initiatives so they are effectively implemented in coordination with the larger organization.

  • Participate in the process improvement of the OIS organization.

  • Plan, design, and implement security solutions, tools, and monitoring systems. Review new systems designs and major modifications for business and organizational implications prior to implementation. Document, analyze, and report on IS business processes to recommend security enhancement and improvements.

  • Work with the CISO to develop, implement, and mature information security strategy, programs, and capabilities across Healthfirst. This includes coordinating with key corporate stakeholders to include the IT, privacy, and business teams.

Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or 10 yrs. equivalent experience in IT

  • Previous experience providing Business Information Security analysis and support or as an Information System Security Engineer.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience making and defending sound technical arguments that incorporate relevant technical and business considerations, and building consensus among stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of key government regulations and local laws

  • Technical aptitude, experience with scripting languages, understanding of networking protocols, and infrastructure designs

  • Strong work ethic, excellent use of discretion and judgment

  • Excellent problem solving abilities and analytical skills. Ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details

  • Results oriented, is able to achieve desired outcomes independently and at appropriate priority levels

  • Well organized with follow-up abilities; has a track record of effectively managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet challenging deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as, independently

  • Has the ability to influence others and shape/obtain desired outcome in areas outside of direct control

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP, CISA, CISM or similar certification

  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvement initiatives

  • Project and Program Management experience
