The Account Executive will be responsible for developing Broker; Employer and Direct Consumer relationships. The Account Executive will execute sales programs in accordance with approved strategy and policies. This position is responsible for executing sales activity which will meet or exceed the enrollment goals for the organization.
Drive lead generation within the NY small group and individual market. - Account Executive must develop and maintain an in depth understanding of the NY Broker and General Agent community and be able to serve as a relationship manager to ensure the broker community is prepared to engage with Healthfirst. - Account Executives must build relationships with community based organizations, small businesses, faith based organizations, business improvement districts and various city agencies. - Responsible to provide customer service functions for Brokers, General Agents and Small Employers. - Responsible for new business case installation and renewal management. - Work in conjunction with various departments such as Community Engagement, Marketing, PHSP Sales, Medicare Sales and Network to develop cross functional team efforts in achieving membership growth. - Account Executive must develop and maintain knowledge of all commercial products and compliance regulations. Must stay up to date with all aspects of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Government/State regulations. - Account Executive will be responsible to report and provide updates on weekly/monthly sales pipeline. - Account Executive must possess/willing to develop strong presentation skills, and will be responsible for creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external audiences. - Assure accountability through routine observation, reporting, performance measurement, and the preparation of coaching forms. - Account Executive must possess excellent interpersonal skills. - Account Executive is responsible to take regular continuing education classes and pass examinations as required to maintain an active NYS Accident and Health License.
