Description

The Organizational Change Management Specialist will play an integral role as a member of the Human Resources team. This role will focus on employee readiness for changes related to job roles, organizational structures, process, systems and technology. The primary responsibility will be to implement and execute on change management strategies and deliverables that maximize employee adoption, improve utilization, and minimize resistance to change.

The Organizational Change Management Specialist will have responsibility for guiding project and program teams, and partnering with HR colleagues to define and execute change management and communication plans and materials to deliver stakeholder engagement, business impact assessments and align learning approach.

The successful candidate is a team player, creative thinker and proactive practitioner who can work at both strategic and tactical levels to deliver high-value change management results.

  • Create and execute various change management strategies and deliverables inclusive but not limited to Stakeholder Analysis, Change Impact Assessment, Communication Plans and Materials, Transition Plan and Adoption Plan.

  • Partner with project teams, work leads, stakeholders, champions to integrate change management approaches into overarching program/project plans.

  • Advise on implications and risks, and make recommendations on factors that may impact change adoption and sustainability.

  • Establish key performance indicators and develop metrics to track execution, monitor progress against key change management deliverables and measure success of the change strategies.

  • Provide methods and guidance to business leaders to make informed decisions which facilitate the adoption of supporting change process.

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and establish yourself as a trusted partner.

  • Provide ongoing maintenance of the Change Management Toolkit; maintain all Change Management materials in the proper repository.

  • Facilitate OCM related workshop sessions and program/project meetings to provide tactical project support to complete various deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Familiarity with project management or change management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

  • The ability to set priorities, work on numerous initiatives simultaneously, and meet deadlines

  • Exceptional communication skills – oral and written

  • Strong relationship building skills, including the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels of organizations

  • Proficiency with MS office suite of applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree from an accredited institution with focus area in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, Organizational Psychology/Development or Human Resources

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

  • Demonstrated change management experience in the areas of: communications, stakeholder engagement, training, adoption/change measurement, leadership engagement/development

  • Strong project management experience with key skills in scoping, designing and delivering business transformation activities
