Healthfirst Program Manager DSE in New York, New York


The Lead for Compliance and Regulatory Initiatives is an integral role that serves as a point of contact within DSE for all Regulatory and Compliance initiatives projects and deliverables. The Program Manage will ensures that regulatory and compliance deliverables are strategically managed and meet necessary deadlines (i.e. DOH/CMS Audits, Article 44). In this role, the Lead will coordinate and draft responses and make recommendations on how to ensure the department can avoid future external risks.


  • Point of contact for DSE on all Regulatory and Compliance initiatives/deliverables

  • Helps to make recommendations on strategy and process improvement to drive successful outcomes for quality, regulatory and compliance initiatives as well as special projects assigned.

  • Monitors various Correct Action Plans within the department to ensure action items are successfully met

  • Coordinates and tracks various deliverable to successful completion. Creates reporting mechanisms that can be shared with management

  • Creates presentations and presents on initiatives as needed

  • Works with internal business partners as needed to ensure successful roll out /completion of assigned initiatives/projects/deliverables (Regulatory, Product, Marketing, Compliance, Clinical Partnership, Population Health, Clinical Quality, etc)

  • Draft policies and procedures needed to ensure compliance with Corrective Action Plans and process improvements

  • Attend meetings/committees as needed

  • Develops and trains staff as needed

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Managed Care operations; working with various business partners to facilitate resolution (Legal, Regulatory/Compliance, Quality)

  • Project planning small and large scale initiatives

  • Familiarity with implementing corrective action plans and recommending approaches on how to improve efficiency in process flows.

  • Great attention to detail

  • Creating presentations and presenting to management

  • Managing a team of direct reports

  • Critical thinking skills

  • MS Excel, Word, Power Point

  • Associates Degree
