Healthfirst Senior Compliance Analyst in New York, New York

Description

The Sr. Compliance Analyst is responsible for maintaining and fostering an environment that enhances and promotes compliance. This position works with the Vice President of Compliance and Audit in the planning and execution of compliance reviews and activities for all product lines, with a focus on assessing compliance of third parties including delegated vendors and First Tier, Downstream, and Related entities (FDRs).

  • Supports the Healthfirst Compliance Program.

  • Develops and implements action plans to support continued compliance.

  • Reports deviations from Compliance commitments which may affect governmental site compliance audits.

  • Performs departmental compliance reviews for all product lines.

  • Works on the preparation of an annual Compliance audit plan.

  • Recommends improvements in operating policies and practices while ensuring required corrective actions plans are achieved.

  • Creates detailed reports informing management of deficiencies found during compliance reviews.

  • Develops and maintains documentation of all compliance activities and communications which are conducted to support corporate and regulatory compliance efforts.

  • Monitors and prepares detailed reports on compliance activities, including vendor activity and performance, and other topics as needed.

  • Coordinates ongoing risk-based vendor auditing schedule and program.

  • Assists with the Vendor Compliance and Risk Management Program that supports vendor risk management throughout the vendor lifecycle.

  • Educates Business Owners of their responsibilities within the Vendor Compliance and Risk Management Framework

  • Assists with managing centralized repository of vendor contracts including intake, coordination of SME reviews at onboarding

  • Produces monthly reporting on vendor activity to management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and/or GED from an accredited institution

  • Intermediate and/or advanced Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry working with regulatory monitoring activities

  • Knowledge of Federal and State Regulatory Compliance Program Requirements

  • Proficient in identifying Regulatory Deficiencies and Opportunities for Process Improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution

  • Prior experience working in a compliance function

  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including coordinating and following up with multiple stakeholders

  • SharePoint experience

  • Strong ability to multitask

  • Detail Oriented

  • Ability to analyze and understand data

  • Experience interacting with vendors and multiple levels of internal stakeholders
